Open-source licences
SetupSight is built with open-source software. Each library below is used under its own licence, which applies to that library and not to SetupSight as a whole (terms, section 7). Thank you to everyone who wrote and maintains them.
The libraries
Draws the candles and lines of every chart. Made by TradingView, which is why a link to TradingView appears under each chart, as its licence asks.
The canvas helper that Lightweight Charts draws with.
The framework the website runs on, pages and server alike.
Builds the pages you see and keeps them up to date as you use them.
Talks to the database and handles logging in and out.
Sends a teaching conversation to the AI and reads its answer, on the server only.
The animated sketch on the front page.
Counts page views without cookies and without identifying anyone (privacy policy, section 4).
The typefaces of the site. They are copied in at build time and served from our own site, so no request goes to Google when you open a page.
The smaller packages
These libraries bring smaller packages with them, under the same few licences (MIT, Apache 2.0, ISC, BSD and similar). The complete list, with versions, is kept in the package files of the code and is checked for known problems with every change. The licence texts are short and worth reading: in plain words, each asks that its copyright notice stays with the code and promises nothing about it.
The copyright notices of all of them are kept in full inside the site's code as the licences require; this page is the readable summary.
